Help With Column & Row Headings in MS Excell, Please?

Hi!Smile

Still trying to learn the ins and outs of Excell... Great program, even if it is a little hard to learn. Anyway, column headings are labled with letters, and row headings are labled with numbers. The row headings are fine as they are, but I really want to change the column headings to correspond with the info I have under them. I've seen other excell forms with custom column headings but I can't figure out how to do it myself. Please help? Embarrassed

Thanks! Very Happy

I don't think you can rename columns. I think you saw a sheet with a header row.

That's just a row of cells you use for column headings.

Insert a row at the top of the spreadsheet and type your headings in there. The reason why you can't change the actual lettered and numbered columns and rows is because they are designations used by the program for things like formulas. Hence you just create a header row by putting in a row at the top and then customizing it however you please.
