you can be the man of the hour by being a man for a minute
were encouraged to have courage so if were scared we cant admit it
or shed a tear in a moment of silence minus the science
cuz there is none just like we were built for defiance
if its all in a name then a man is less than a women honestly
but they say that less is more so what could the logic behind this be
cuz he envies me as i do the next man now im sttartin to see
is it jelousy or could it be were scared to talk about emotions openly
so we put up a front and hide behind possesions and currency
leaving others emotions as debrise gauging the potency
of our presence treatin others as peasants leavin no evidence
like we made gods of ourselves and dont answer the heavens
so we get mad and say F-YOU like we dont assistance
cuz your pride is held above all just handle ya business wit persistance
so you can walk wit ya head held high till the day that you die
its alot of crazy sh!t goin on i just wanna know why

its another baby mamma to young to even raise herself
on welfare wit no job not concerned for that babys health
thought it was all a joke till her mamma kicked her out the house
now she runnin the sreets sleepin on her best friends couch
intimidated by the world and the reality of the situation
like how hard it is to find a job the struggles and aggrivation
still a fool turned to strippin instead of goin back to school
i aint knokin it though sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do
to put food on the table and somehow keep ya family stable
but she wasnt able and fell into the stereotypical label
how she aint got no food or money baby cryin in the craddle
movin around babys only education was stolen cable
didnt think she was capable of comin to terms wit the times
cuz life aint easy and failure sh!t its preset in their minds
contemplatin whether or not she should give up the baby
yeah? nah? i dont know but in life there is no maybe

write rhymes when im frustrated feel like this life i just hate it
to check my temper when it gets to be to much to take it
got an overberring father takin it out on me cuz hes bitter
but put up wit it cuz its still love plus wasnt raised as a quiter
not only that mamma split didnt come back thanksgiving eve
i understand why but now we only talk when its somethin she need
so now im like forget it ima just get my money and split
and i will not quit until i have what i came to get
on top of that latley the ladies been causin a lot of stress
nahh aint even gonna get in to that so i digress
i guess this is all i got left that gives me breath
please just tell me its a test or just give me death
but theres a phrase i like to say when i feel like snappin
