I am asking you since I believe this is the Best Run PHPBB site.
I have a PHPBB forum that is about a year old. I have installed the SEO package. Since I have done that and also have some other sites linking to me I am up to google rank of 4. The good thing is I am getting more and more users the problem is I am getting a lot of users that are joining with multiple accounts and put their website in that is usually selling or Porn. For example: Drew001, Drew123, Drew110 but they all have the same web site and never post anything. I was just wondering how you handle this. With a site like this I am sure it is harder to monitor this stuff but I notice you don't have this problem. Or is it that since you have so many members its not as noticable.

We remove the accounts when they are created and deploy a variety of technical solutions to combat it.
What you describe is automated so using visual confirmation in registration will stop that.
