PLEASE HELP ME REMOVE SEARCHWEB2

Ive got searchweb2 all ova ma computer.. toolbar is annoying and so are the pop up's my hijackthis log is as follows: (THE OTHER PROBLEM IM HAVING IS THAT I CAN GET ONTO EVERY SINGLE WEBSITE APART FROM THE ONE WEBSITE WHICH I VISIT THE MOST. IT SAYS PAGE IS UNAVAILABLE. IS THIS DUE TO SOME SPYWARE TOO? PLZ HELP SOMEONE SAID I GOT A LOT OF CRAP ON MA PROCESSES. MY COMPUTER IS LIKE 2 MONTHS OLD FROM NEW. LOOK FORWARD TO UR REPLY. THANKS

Don77 asked me if I could toss in a couple thoughts on this problem. Odd ... that website opens just fine for me too. It might be that Norton Internet Security is blocking that site for some reason. See This Article . If that's no help, try disabling Norton Internet Security and see if you can connect to the website you're havin' trouble with. If so, then consult the docummentation for Norton Firewall (also available HERE ) to see how to add and remove websites from the blocked list.

If that doesn't do it for you, and if the hosts file posted is the only hosts file on the machine, I don't see any reason that website shouldn't be accessible. If you still can't connect to that site after checkin' Norton Firewall, please right-click on the "My Computer" icon on your desktop, select "Explore", and in the left-hand panel, click the plus sign next to "Local Disk (CSmile" then navigate to your Windows folder. click the plus sign next to that folder, and navigate to the "System 32" folder, click the plus sign next to that folder, navigate to the "drivers" folder, click the plus sign next to that folder, select the "etc" folder, and open it. If there are any files in there other than the sample hosts file you've already posted, one-at-a-time, right-click every file you find there, select "rename", and click in the highlighted box to clear the highlight. Then append old. to the beginning of every file (that would make, for instance, "hosts" into "old.hosts"). Reboot and try to connect.

Let us know how you make out.

It still hasnt seem to made any difference.... i checked the files u asked me to and there was only one host file which i have already post i also found another file called lmhost for which i am now pasting what shows when opened in notepad:

Yep i disabled it and uninstalled the whole thing. but still no luck.
