This formal paragraph is about showing opinion towards man-made fibres and silk. Please correct my writing, I would be so thankful.

Topic : Man-made fibres should replace silk.

I disagree that man-made fibers should replace silk. There are three reasons to support my opinion. First of all, synthetic fibres do not provide breathable and comfortable fabrics like silk does. Silk fabric allows your skin to breath. It is also able to cool and warm simultaneously, so it can be worn in both warm and cold weather. The second reason, silk fibre is the most hypoallergenic compared to all man-made fibres and other kinds of natural fibres. According to a number of studies, silk is composed of amino acids which are safe to human skin. While man-made fibres like polyester and nylon are made from petroleum or coal. Hence, they are able to cause skin irritation. The last reason that support my opinion is that silk is environmentally friendly. Producing silk threads requires no crude oil or its derivative products which are used in synthetic fibres production. Thus, it helps preserve non- renewable natural resources. In conclusion, man-made fibres should not replace silk.

@Abducens,
I disagree with the idea that man-made fibers should replace silk. There are three reasons that support my opinion. First of all, synthetic fibers do not provide breathable and comfortable fabrics like silk does. Silk fabric allows your skin to breathe, and since it cools and warms simultaneously, it can be worn in both warm and cold weather.

Secondly, silk fiber is the most hypoallergenic when compared to other natural fibers and all synthetic materials. According to a number of studies, silk is composed of amino acids which are harmless to the skin, while man-made fibers like polyester and nylon are made from petroleum or coal which can cause skin irritation.

And lastly, unlike synthetic fibers, silk is environmentally friendly, as it requires no crude oil or its derivative products during production. Thus, it helps preserve non-renewable natural resources. In conclusion, man-made fibers should not replace silk.

@roger,
Silk fabric allows your skin to breathe, and since it is a magic fabric, it cools and warms simultaneously and therefore it can be worn in both warm and cool weather. On the other hand, synthetic fabrics do not allow your skin to breathe and must be worn for only short periods time in order to avoid the risk of skin suffocation.

@Glennn,
Thanks for the explanation. I know I must seem awfully dense at times.

@roger,
No, I'm the dense one. I should have caught the OP's impossible claim of simultaneously hot and cold silk. So I subsequently changed it to a magic fabric to cover my mistake.

And of course, being a magic fabric, it can also repel phasers and photon torpedoes.
