How do i make a gif file like this one???

I'm interested too...will watch with interest.

Programs I've used for such purposes include Adobe ImageReady & Ulead Gif Animator...there are many other commercial & shareware apps to do so.

For the record though, you'd have to keep your file's size no more than 6kb to use it as an avatar on A2K...the animated gif of gollum above is over 36kb.

I have AdobeImageReady 3.0, but I've never used it - in fact, I didn't even realise I had it attached to my Photoshop 6.0 package.

Any advice on a quick crash course in using ImageReady?
