windows installer ?????

Have a new problem that is really flipping me out. I have not deleted anything to do with Microsoft Office or any or it's components, that I am aware of and now whenever the computer is shut off and restarted, the Windows installer tries to load Microsoft Office 2000 professional, which is on my computer. But it can't finish loading since I don't have the CD for it. So it comes up with this Error 1706 message. For one how can I get it to stop doing this loading and second, has it been erased or what?? I just don't understand what is happening to my computer.
