Yes, booman? Confused And does that mean that the pullee should be the puller, then? (Even I'm confused by that statement! Laughing )

Msolga,
Sorry for my slow reply. No I didn't mean a reversal. It was rather, a whimsical wish that the voters of our country had been been the pullers, figuratively last Nov......See, that's not so vicious right?

Oh, I know that's not what you meant, booman! And I'm certain you're not viciously Right, either. Laughing I figured out what you meant soon after posting. (It's just that I'm a wee bit vague & slow just before a much needed holiday from work.)

The Germans are having some trouble with their election results ... all claim to have won, but who will have to work with whom to get a majority government?

Yep. In the unequalable terminology of the day, the choice appears to be between a Grand Coalition, a Traffic Light Coalition or "Jamaica".

Especially the push from some in the arch-conservative Bavarian Christian-Social Union for "Jamaica" (including a Jamaican flag outside CSU headquarters) must surely inspire some future linguist to a postmodern thesis work on the nexus of socio-cultural transformation and political terminology...
