Is Macbook worth the money?

I think it depends on what exactly you are using the computer for. If just simple internet browsing then allot of other brands then Mac will do. If for certain programs like for presentations and other programs, then it would be best to choose a brand that runs that particular program the best. Personally I love to use Window's rather then Mac.

In general if you consider resale value I think they tend to be a better value than most PCs. I've bought dozens of Macs for my company because they tend to last longer than the PCs and we can actually sell them after years of use unlike the PCs which we have to give away to get rid of.

Of course lots of value is in the eye of the beholder, and either Mac or PC will get the job done just fine.
