The only word we don't have out of that is else.

Two possibilities:
1. There is a pattern to the numbers and we have to continue it out to 8 terms and sum them up - seems unlikely.
2. The colors and species of the participants turn into the number of points scored in some fashion - I think this is the likely situation

Tried a standard A=1, B=2, etc. substitution. Red (29) Techo (43) = 77, Ghost (69) Lenny (60) = 129, and Blue (40) Nimmo (64) = 104, so that doesn't give the answer on its own, anyway.
