Each of those eggs hatched, and each of those Darblats laid three eggs.
When those eggs hatched, each of those Darblats laid five eggs.
When those eggs hatched, each of those Darblats laid seven eggs. (except for one Darblat, who was a boy, and didn't lay any eggs)
When those eggs hatched, each of those Darblats laid eleven eggs.
When those eggs hatched, each of those Darblats laid fifteen eggs.
When those eggs are hatched, how many total Darblats are there?

I found the LC not out at 5:17 and out at 5:19. So we can pin it down pretty close today. It does seem pretty easy.

I must have messed something up, as I didn't get it right. :/ I don't remember what I put, and I threw out my piece of scrap paper.
Last week's solution:
Start with 20 Darblats that each lay 12 eggs.
When they hatch, 20 x 12 = 240 new Darblats.
240 Darblats each lay 3 eggs, leading to 240 x 3 = 720 new Darblats.
720 Darblatts each lay 5 eggs, leading to 720 x 5 = 3600 new Darblats.
Since one of those 3600 Darblats was a boy and didn't lay eggs,
3599 Darblats each lay 7 eggs, leading to 3599 x 7 = 25193 new Darblats.
25193 Darblats each lay 11 eggs, leading to 25193 x 11 = 277123 new Darblats.
Finally, 277123 Darblats each lay 15 eggs, leading to 277123 x 15 = 4156845 new Darblats.
Adding all these up gives 20 + 240 + 720 + 3600 + 25193 + 277123 + 4156845 = 4463741 Darblats altogether.
Figured it out after I found my scrap paper:
I transposed two digits from one of my results (put 25913 instead of 25193). Went too fast, I guess. Congrats to everyone who got it right!
