For the final answer, are you taking the 5% out of the total or 5% out of the omelette after the Skeith eats it?

Hope somebody can answer this for me soon... when finding the percentage of the omelette each particular pet ate... are we supposed to round to significant digits each time, or wait for the final answer to round? My decimal strings are getting long and I don't want to miss out because I didn't round when we were supposed to.

Thinking I got it anyway, and also thinking it may have been silly of me not to round until the very end, but that would be the way of the crumbling cookie.
