Okay, lets round to 11,000,000. The 7.5% would be 825,000, leaving 10,175,000 - nowhere close to 878,912.
No, of course you can't add up all the percentages. My 50% was looking at my initial number and seeing that the end result was about half of it - had nothing to do with adding the percentages. The sum is 68.3% anyway.
..but with the exact amount, it does come out to 878912.
You are looking at 7.5% of your 11**826 to get 878912. However, 878912 is what is left after the Jetsam eats 7.5%, so the 878912 is 92.5% of the previous amount, not 7.5%.
