Is it a number sequence where you have to find a pattern or a sequence of numbers found on Neopets?

I used a solver so I'm probably wrong, lol.

I don't think there's anything wrong with subtle hints, but what gets me is when five hundred people come through and post, "IS THE ANSWER BEEF?" vs. actually thinking it out. If the answer's "beef," you should KNOW it is, right?

The Neoboards peeps suggest it's an infinite sequence and any hints would give it away.

Jen, I agree with not giving out the answer and making it so easy for the lurkers, but this is a help site. A lot of us, including you, like working together to find the answer. But for someone to come here and brag that they've found the answer without offering even a shred of assistance to those of us busting our brains to figure it out, is plain rude in my opinion. If you wanna brag that you found the answer without giving any clues, go to the neoboards.

Well, could someone please show a formula? Or something to help figure out the pattern? Like is it math related or is it more of something on neopets?

Well, I agree--if you have it and don't want to even give hints, it's a waste to say it (even on the Neoboards).

I may have found a pattern, but its really kind of thin. The answer I got was a 4-digit number starting with a 3. Did anyone else get a number like that?

based on one of my theories, i got a 4 digit number starting with 1

This is the kinda pattern/theory I found...take it for what its worth. I could be way off base here. But there are 10 total numbers in the sequence including the 2 numbers we dont know.

3 5 15 16 38 || 26 29 41 __ __

2 10 1 22 3 12

the difference between the 2 and the 3 is 1, the difference between the 10 and the 12 is 2...so the difference between 41 and the next number should be 4, because the difference between 4 and 1 is 3. The next number I have is 71 because 22+4 = 26 and 45 + 26 = 71. Does that make sense?

Not the lottery - numbers only go to 30 and numbers of winners don't match the sequence. I checked.
