@Jen Aside,
I agree, 788 np is really not much of a prize. But the Lenny was pretty easy, people probably figured it out quickly :-/

@wertyiu102,
Frozen for refreshing the lc? rly? I didn't know that, but i don't usually refresh too much at once. I just go to another page and come bak.Maybe they're making a really hard lc for this week, so its late. I hope not...

Suppose you have the following sequence of numbers:

3, 5, 15, 16, 38, 26, 29, 41,...

What do you get when you multiply the next two numbers in the sequence together? Please only submit the answer, and do not show your work. Please don't use a comma or any other punctuation.

What? Confused I bet you're thinking of doing something like putting something heavy on the F5/refresh key. That will get you frozen in general, because that increases chances for getting Random Events, when you're really just supposed to refresh with your own finger and actually LOOK at the page each time it refreshes.

And it's not REALLY late. It varies when they put everything new live.

Well figuring out the pattern is the only way of finding the next 2 numbers...

I tried a variety of sequence/pattern finders and all of them said that there was no pattern

They DO work late. Yeah, that's late to us who are impatient for the newest LC or whatever, but everyone also complains when something bugs due to rushing something out the door... so. It also gives a chance for most people (in the U.S., at least) to get home to see the LC go live.

I'd hope so! It would be too easy otherwise. Most likely it's directly tied into Neopets somehow.

@Seals,
Maybe these numbers are actually amounts of something. I don't know, just taking a wild guess

June 8th's Mystery Pic had 3 winners. Maybe another competition had 5/15/16... winners. Just a wild guess.

@Seals,
That's pretty recent, and people would have to own a Neopets account during those other rounds. So that wouldn't be fair of them to use that.

@wertyiu102,
yea i solved all the possibilities of pattern, but there doesn't seem to be one. i hae a feeling it has something to do with in depth math. series and sequence w/ exponents. thats the only logical mathematical way, i think. and there is always possibility this is data from somewhere on the site.

It's all like +2+10+1+12-12-3-+12 but I'm not sure where to go from there.
