the prize is wierd last time it was a meeepit prize now its a hissi prize
With the way I solved it, the first 4 clues describing the green and purple boxes were the most important and narrowed down the possible numbers very quickly. From there, it's a matter of reading the rest of the clues carefully to not make a mistake in solving for the rest of the boxes. And of course, the 120 total Meepits is key.
I got 41 for the number of meepit that remain outside of the count, May anyone confirm or deny this??
You're right... I had made a mathematical error. I have the answer now, definitely.
I was thinking it was Pink x 5 = Yellow, not Yellow x 5 = Pink >_>

I hate how everyone helps out " a little bit" if you read each post each week it pretty much gives everyone step by step instructions on how to do it on WEDNESDAY no less. I can see answering the question on what is an odd whole number but don't give then the first 3 or 4 steps on how to solve it. some people work hard on these.

720 is a misleading clue meant to throw off the lurkers who just skim through here looking for a quick answer. >_> You did exactly what that poster wanted you to do - you saw it as an easy answer, so instead of bothering to check their work you submitted it.

Hey...Im working on the solution on my own, but I was just wondering how to get around Orange is 1/2 of purple while white has 1/3 of purple... Can someone just tell me if purple contains an odd or even number of meepits? Are we dealing with percentages and will we have to round?

Purple= 6
Orange = 3
White = 2
Blue = 23
Pink = 20
Yellow = 4
8th box= 41
Multiply that and you get 57032640

Honestly, if you didn't solve this LC yourself within 20 minutes after it updated then you already had no chance at a gold trophy and a somewhat slim chance at even top 250 considering how easy it is. No one on this topic immediately gave out the final answer and only a few started posting their work on this individual numbers. I agree that blurting out the answer doesn't help, but the puzzle has been posted long enough for the trophy spots to be gone already so there's no harm in helping others solve it now.

I don't think Green is 21, because my total meepits is lower than 120. It's not 35, because the purple box must be divisable to 2 or 3, so it can not be 20 or 19. I don't think Green is 49 because ill end up with more than 120 meepits

At least EXPLAIN how you got it. Otherwise lurkers will just take the answer and not learn a thing.
EDIT: Leopard, notice that the puzzle only mentions SEVEN boxes. That means there's an unknown box with an unknown number of Meepits. However many Meepits are unaccounted-for when you sort out the other boxes is the amount in the unknown box (I called it the Black Box)
