@Dandy Warhols,
You have to apply the rules in order. What I got was:

Rule 2: 2, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2
Rule 3: 2, 6, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2
Rule 4: 2, 6, 4, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 8
Rule 5: 4, 6, 4, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 8
Rule 6: 4, 6, 4, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, -8
Rule 7: 16, 6, 4, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 64
Rule 8: 17, 6, 5, 2, 1, 2, 2, 2, 65
Rule 9: 17, 6, 6, 2, 1, 2, 2, 2, 65
Rule 10: 17, 9, 6, 2, 1, 2, 2, 2, 65
Rule 11: 17, 9, 6, 2, 1, 2, 2, 2, 1
ELEPHANTE: 42

In English, it is elephant, with no e on the end. But the Neopets name is Elephante.

@Dandy Warhols,
Wow, so in different languages, there might be different correct answers. I wonder if they will take that into account.

@Steve729,
Dear Tami, Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Lenny Conundrum game (round 285). You have won 572 NP! Because you were in the first 250 to guess correctly, you also have been awarded a Rules to Rule By, and receive a trophy and the Lenny Conundrum avatar! Yours Sincerely, The Neopets Team!

whoo hoo!! Just missed out on the gold trophy again! That's two weeks in a row!

Maybe this week will be my charm! I want the gold trophy so much!! I guess all I can do is keep trying. I hope todays is not a math one cause I can't do the math ones. I've been out of school too long for that!

I hope some of you will continue to give hints & help us old folks out on this site! That's what I like about this site! You can come here & if you're stuck, you might get lucky & get a hint or something that will jog your memory or tell you to google etc. & next thing you know, you are sending the answer to TNT! Thanks to all the of the hard core lenny helpers on this site!

@mommytbe,
Just to make it official, the answer was Draik. Got my gold trophy this week. Got lucky with seeing the new conundrum minutes after it came out and having a math/computer background I was able to find the answer within about 45 minutes.

In last week's Lenny Conundrum, the most popular answer submitted (which was also the correct answer) was "Draik." The second most popular answer was "Elephante" and the third most popular answer was "Tuskaninny."

What was the fourth most popular answer submitted in last week's Lenny Conundrum? Your answer must EXACTLY match last week's fourth most popular answer in order to be considered correct (although not case-sensitive, so don't worry about capitalising letters!)

@YODIZZLE,
I hate it when they do these... To rephrase the question:

There are 54 species of neopets. We are thinking of one of them. Its not "Draik" ,"Elephante", or "Tuskaninny". Can you guess which one we are thinking of?

They do stress correct spelling in the question, which could mean that the 4th most common answer is just a misspelling. Or, as Dandy Warhols posted last week, the answer could be "elefante", the French spelling for the pet.

I'm going to go with that. It's probably wrong, but then again, there is no way to actually figure out what is right.

@edstock,
Congrats Edstock on your Gold Lenny's trophy!! I missed the news when it came down so I don't think I'll get it this week either? I'm not sure what to put for this week? I was thinking about maybe Xweetox? It has a value of 31 & is sort of hard to spell. That or scorchio maybe? It's value is 25? Some people are throwing around Blumaroo? just because it is a long name? It's value is 19? Decisions, Decisions? What's a girl to put down? I sure don't know what to choose? any suggestions??

@mommytbe,
I went with Driak. I'm guessing a misspelling was the fourth most popular answer and that seems like the likeliest misspelling of the correct answer.

@edstock,
But chomby has the most original points other than the three, making it possible for the answer.

@Steve729,
we can't know which species it can be but i'm agree with you i think it's a fake one : people didn't write the good word exactly
maybe elefante, elephant or tuskaniny or something else in this kind
(draik is to short for mistakes ^^")

the personn who makes the questions is a little bit evil, doesn't he ?
and maybe he reads our comments every weekes and just thinks "mouahahaha it works, I'm driving them crazy"

@Meow,
To celebrate Neopets's birthday, a huge cake was made. It was a three-tiered cake, and each tier had three layers. The first tier had a total diameter of 12 inches, the second had a total diameter of 10.5 inches, and the third had a total diameter of 9 inches. Each layer of cake was 1.5 inches thick. Each tier was frosted on the top and sides with one-third of an inch thickness of frosting, frosted in such a way that each tier is a perfect cylinder. Within each tier, a one-quarter-inch thick layer of jam separated each of the layers.

If the frosting weighs 0.48 ounces per cubic inch, and the cake weighs 0.35 ounces per cubic inch, and the jam weighs 0.60 ounces per cubic inch, and everything has 53.4 calories per ounce, how many calories are in the entire cake? Please round to the nearest whole calorie.

@K311Y,
frosting is the toughie for me. It's not a cylinder it's like a tube. Would I figure the cylinder at 1/3 in. larger then subtract the inner cake?

@Bristle,
Me too...thats what Im stuck on. Ive calculated the surface areas for the frosting, but do I need to multiply the surface area by .33? That doesnt seem right to me.
