Sadly, that doesn't work for the other hours... you can divide the numbers (to get integers) by
7 8 8 7 8 ?
to get 61, but you can't divide them all by 7

I know. ):
I just realized that after I finished thinking out loud.
Oh well, I have a whole paper full of ideas. *writes down more*
Too bad it would take me forever to type them all, so I'm just going to guess.

on the boards they seem to think it's quite obvious and not much to think about, so maybe it's really this 757 thing from versigh, since it doesn't asume a mathematical pattern. Well I'll finally go to bed now, it's way too late. Have some fun. Maybe somebody figures it out. I'd laugh my ass off, if this 757 thing' totally off and in the end it IS something mathematical, that maybe 3 ppl will get Rolling Eyes

Well, if 7 * 61 is 427, what do you have to multiply 7 with to get the other numbers?

Bedtime for me.. It's 3:36 AM, I should have gone to bed AT LEAST 1½ hours ago. This won't do for when school starts up again on monday.

Good luck, every one =)

k, i tried with the letters of the word first, next, third... i don't think there's anything to get by there...
then i tried to divide with the numbers reversed, means:

427/7
256/6
312/5
...

nothing

.... gee....

checking what? a final number doesn't help us if we fundamentally don't understand what the underlying pattern is.

"Well, and tea, too. But that would have ruined the alliteration."

You think this is a hint or clue to the answer?

I don't know but subtracting or adding seven to every number give a more interesting sequence.

3451 - 427 - 256 - 312 - 546 - 656 - 823 = 431

i thin kthe alliteration is somehow related..seven? that is sort of important here..at least i think it is..somehow..in a wierd and un imaginable way that i havent thought of yet..but yes, important nonetheless..

clue

oh gosh...
i though i found it cuz 2 numbers were mathcing....

ok

there are 7 words in S in this alliteration
there are 7 hours

so we must find something with S and 7 or at least 7 cuz the alliteration is there to enlight us, a bit like last week, he looked at the calendar...
