Or maybe add the other set of numbers...

6 + 15 + 17 = 38

Maybe 38 plus add a 7..

387

Okay, Now is where I scream..

Well.. Knowing how horrible at math as I am. I'm dead wrong.. As well as confused..

If you add all the numbers together...

Example...

4 + 2 + 7 = 13
2 + 5 + 6 = 13
3 + 1 +2 = 6
5 + 4 + 6 = 15
6 + 5 + 6 = 17
8 + 2 + 3 = 13

Then add the 13's together..

13 + 13 + 13 = 39...

Maybe add a zero making it 390.

I don't know; Great, Now I am lost again..

Sorry, but that's you randomly combining numbers not an actual pattern...

I still think it's probably some pattern in the rows, but the third one doesn't fit, whatever I tried.
But they seem to work more every time since the second hour, so I would normally guess, they worked more again next time. But that would mean, there's a 9 at the beginning, which would be strange, since there's no 9 so far anywhere

if you add the all the numbers together you get 77

13+13+13=39
6+15+17=38

38+39=77

I'm normally pretty good at math, but this one's giving me a headache >_>

First hour was 427
Second hour was 256..

It went down by 171 from the first hour.

Third hour was 312
Fourth Hour was 546

It went up by err 234.

Fifth hour was 656
Sixth hour was 823

It went up by 167.

Hrm.. I don't know.. Sorry.. I'm math dumb.

That's all only adding up, it's got nothing to do with a pattern in the original sequence, since you're trying to make up the next number in sequence, by simply adding up parts of the sequence. But the next number has to fit the pattern. (this probably doesn't make much sense the way I just wrote it, but it's nearly 3am here)

Well, if you asume they're working on a somehow linear base, then the next number would be aprox. 844.73333333....
Which doesn't say anything, since it's asuming linear development Question

I got 765 for the seventh hour and 3785 total.

I would explain how I got it but I doubt it would make any sense. D:

Well good luck! This is the first time in a long time that the LC has genuinely stumped me.

What a surprise, despite having this lovely forum to post in, the Neopet questioners couldn't read and posted FIVE riddles of the same thing!!

Can we say LAZY? BLIND? STUPID?

Of course we can't say those things!

(But I can think them Twisted Evil )

Can we say that it doesn't matter, and that you're rude?

No, of course not, but I can think them. Twisted Evil

Just a thought
I realize this has been noted and just wanted to comment that I used "757" as the "7th" hour and got "3777".

7 came from the 7 s'
the last 7 came from the 7th hour
the 5 came from a previous post and because the 2 from 3020 with 5 added on makes 7 which would allow for the 3 consecutive numbers that are supposed to be in the 4 digits.

Don't assume i'm right, just shooting it off.

I really can't explain it.
It makes absolutely no sense in word form.
And you wouldn't get it if I just showed the numbers.

So you just added up some numbers without any logical reason for it?

yeah... in a kinda strange way... I personally don't see it really... It also just adds up some numbers, so that there would be no pattern at all - which wouldn't be THAT new for a LC, given. But it looks a bit like it's just trying to work to those 3 equal digits, which doesn't have to be right.

*thinks out loud*
"Several Symols sat silently and snacked on sugary sweets."
Hmmm, seven 'S' words... seven hours...
*thinks out loud more*
Seven letters in several, multiply it by 61, and you get 427, which is the amount of cubic feet (or whatever) dug in the first hour...

Sadly, that doesn't work for the other hours... you can divide the numbers (to get integers) by
7 8 8 7 8 ?
to get 61, but you can't divide them all by 7
