I'm getting desperate to see H2G2 (hitchhiker's guide to the galax)

I want to get to A Series of Unfortunate Events. Also, even though it got terrible reviews, I want to get a copy of Legends of Earthsea which was on TV not too long ago. I don't get the sci-fi channel, so I missed it. It's a movie based on an old favorite book series.
I really liked A Series of Unfortunate Events! I can't wait for War of the Worlds to come out, my brothers read the book and he told me the ending and believe me its a real twist!
Is the War of the Worlds coming to film?!? Cool....

ok - so if someone goes to A Series of Unfortunate Events in the next week, c'mon back and post your review! The only A2K'er who admits to having gone to see it suggests waiting for it as a rental.

A while back a read a book called "Them" where a journalist (Jon Ronson) went out to find out who "They" are.
I thought it would make a great documentary.
I think "The Swines Wedding" would make a really good movie too.
Charlie and the chocolate factory has johnny depp in it right? Is it just me or is he really weird, though I did think he was great in Pirates of the caribbean. The second ones coming out soon!
THE title of the Beowolf film is BEOWOLF AND GRENDEL It's it's supposed to come out this year. Another one I forgot was STEAMBOY.
oooh, "And Grendel". I always like the grendel story better than the beowulf story.
