This is the list that is currently playing at my favorite theater. What should I see?
I voted for "The Life Aquatic", though I haven't seen it yet. "The Aviator" is also on my list.
Blade Trinity is bad ass...me and the boy cubs saw it...where else can you see someone accuse Parker Posey of having fangs in her vagina?
The Life Aquatic looks good... I love those weird movies with quirky characters.

Hey BP... did you ever see "The House of Yes" with Parker? That's a F****D up movie.
Too bad "Sideways" isn't at your theater (also quirky characters) but I voted for Scorcese's "The Aviator."
missed that one...I like Parker Posey and I've noticed that anytime you hire someone from that pool of actors..you know...Mighty Wind..First In Show etc. you end up with more than one of that group...it must be in their contract or something....
Check it out sometime... she plays a incestuous girl who thinks she is Jackie-O. When her brother shows up with his new fiance things get pretty interesting. The whole family is really freaky... it's pretty good.
LW... what is Sideways?
The reviews have been bad for The Life Aquatic, if you listen to such things. Aviator is supposed to be very good. Haven't seen it though.
One of the best reviewed movies this years plus the most Golden Globe nominations and on the AFI list of top ten:

That does sound good... the trailer was pretty funny as well. I found it playing in a theater here... which is also playing A Very Long Engagement... it looks pretty good as well. Anybody hear anything about this?

Same directors as "Amalie" and it's getting very good reviews:

I have to vote for "Meet the Fockers". Just on the basis that the first movie was a riot. And my second would be "Ocean's Twelve" because Andy Garcia is hot. <drool>
btw as you leave the movie be sure to tip the guy who mops up the booth okay?
What movie did you settle on, JP? We saw "The Aviator" yesterday. It was very entertaining. Whoodathunk Leo Dicapprio could act? <Speaking of Whoodathunk, where is that rascal anyway?>
Howard Hughes was an emensely interesting person. The movie takes place before he goes completely bonkers, but there are already episodes of insanity. It has made me want to read more about this guy. Do any of you remember the movie "Melvin & Howard?"
