A couple of automatic updates came in today. The second failed to load. The yellow shield remains on the toolbar and the item won't load. I can't get rid of the shield.
How can I either load the failed update or get rid of the shield? I have cleared temp. folder and restarted to no avail.
The item is: Realtek AC'97 Audio

UPDATE: as of this morning, the icon is gone - there must be a default that removes it if not loaded in a certain amount of time? Regardless, it's gone!
I m curious did it download the udates ?
Hi, Don77 - I just found the available downloads list - it says I am up to date. That could be for securoty only, so I am nopt even sure how to find it.
Me again - I have ten failed attempts listed, so I guess not.
