Oh dust of earth let us consider where you have trod in life's path
Our existence we cannot compare though we wring our hands in wrath.

Looking to ourselves, history overflows with bad as well as good.
Building countries, buildings tall and seas traveled, as they should.

Wars and triumphs, both right and wrong with fragile peace remaining;
Mountain heights conquered, the blessed wheel, none to be self-contained.

Disease cured, talking around the world, farms productive,
Rough times assailed, knowledge gained, our wishes, desires are constructive.

Hero's lost, hero's gained, but to our lonely selves, we see not.
Must our lonely souls forever drift through life in this our final lot?

Conquering space, we've just begun, literature, are music too,
These were not done by stranger unknown but done by ones just like you.

Yes you my friend, of whom I share this wondrous blue/green orb.
Try stepping back a bit and see the best of life that you can absorb.

The power of goodness comes from each of us to civilize,
A world of one people free, to be our dreams to realize.

It all starts and ends with the one in life you trust to be true.
In our hands God gave to each, a fleshy star from which history grew.

Above, stars await, horizons beckon, and a transformed world can be had.
It all starts when you, not me, says to go now to full speed ahead!

Because your brothers & sisters proved the potential to build what others dream:
That the earth's population is still waiting for the best of one supreme:

That one is you, my friend, no matter whom or what you think you are.
You are the best there will ever be, the finest one by far.

There remains one simple thing to be done, that is, if you see to be fit -
You can do ANYTHING - anything to change the world - all you have to do is -
