Live Ladybugs via Amazon?

Just curious. Does anybody know anyone who's bought live ladybugs from Amazon (or elsewhere)?
2 minutes into...

What would happen if I bought them and ...
... released them in to my office?
... released them in my apartment?
... released them in Prospect Park?

@tsarstepan,
me!

I bought ladybugs from our grocery store about a decade ago. they have them almost every year.

(they'd be happiest in Prospect Park - but not this time of year)

@ehBeth,
I'll hold off on this hypothetical experiment to about spring time.

Ladybugs tend to fly away home. Get some mantis eggs instead.

@tsarstepan,
I haven't bought ladybugs on Amazon, but I have had live snails shipped to me through Amazon for my aquarium. They arrived safely!

Don't release live creatures anywhere they're not native - you can disrupt ecosystems that way.

Thankfully, ladybugs are native to North America.
