I wanted life
And my eyes were opened

I wanted riches
And found a treasure

I wanted truth
And found myself

I wanted wisdom
And overcame obstacles to find it

I wanted "things"
And found they denied me

I wanted a drink of water
And drank from the well of life

I wanted to rid the world of evil
And found I had to rid it from myself - FIRST.

I wanted music
And heard the chimes of Heaven

I wanted rapture
And found the future

I wanted the future
And found time immemorial

I wanted to live in a world of peace
And found it within myself

I wanted God
And He found me

I wanted love
And found God
