A Solitary Soul's Epiphany

I celebrate my inner soul, certainly not to my own glory:
To read my life within this life is really quite a story.

Unable to share at present time, due to lack of space,
My heartfelt wish is for other's joy, whose soul God would embrace.

It started with a single desire, of which in life, there is no equal:
To BECOME love, was my wish and found I absorbed a sequel.

By osmosis or spirit flames, who could tell for sure?
Desires changed, but fuller now, for I wish it to be yours.

Not for yours or my own glory nor any one on earth
But humility towards seeking God, will surely give new birth.

Nothing else in life matters, you see - no job, clothing, or family -
For as God is free to all, He wishes you to be.

Mystery upon mystery, gently explained in full,
A gentler parent could never wield a more loving tool.

I pour my heart out in prayer with so much, and thoroughly,
Often times I ask myself, "Why can't others see?

The quiet rapture of His glory within, and none to my account?"
For all I did was seek the Lord, the cost I never did count.

Sure I am wounded and scorned by society
But I care not, for I have found THE ONLY, "Family."

The reality of His love alive, more precious than silver or gold,
Abraham's faith is what one needs to strengthen weak ones bold.

"Leaving all and seeking God, all in Jesus' name,"
Is the purpose of the Lord, and why He really came.

So a rock has been my pillow and the stars my covering.
I've been there a time or two, and it never stopped the loving.

The more one gives of self to God, the more He loves them dearly,
For the proof of all your words, is in the DOING, hourly, yearly.

There is no other path in life that leads to eternity:
I found true love on a one-way street, if you would only see.

But believe what you will, as long as you last,
For against your life, never will I trespass.

As for my lonesome, God-filled life, it is very plain to me,
To continue in this life - bounded by rapturous joy and love -

My solitary epiphany.
