Joe Nation, I think you're gonna have to make sure there are tablecloths wherever you go when shewolf and paula get to New York.

Let's not forget the fine china, led crystal and antique silverware, not to be picky.

Ehbeth you smarty pants girly! You know, that is a lovely party dress your wearing, quite festive, would you like to join us at the Ritz?

Joe and Kicky are paying, isn't that sweet of them.

I climbed Mt. Monadnock also.

I like the oyster idea, but the sawdust could ruin Ehbeths dress, and mine.

"I" will be staying above the tablecloth.

I must say I quite like the idea of a trip to New York, and drinks and Oysters Rockefeller with friends.

I can loan you something, paula. I have a few too many party dresses. Anything particular you'd like? <just remember I live in a big city, and almost everything is black>

Everyone has climbed Mt Monadnock. It's called, I think, "the most climbed mountain in the world".

We'll got to the Carlyle for drinks then, no sawdust.

This is sounding like I'm going to have to wear a tie.

Black alway's looks nice. I'm a bit curvy in places and I have narrow hips, what do you have?

Yeah. And it's a bow tie.

Now. Where shalt this bow tie be tied?

I'd actually kinda pictured Joe in a velvet smoking jacket, with cravat.

hmmmm, Paula, how about a stretch velour dress (black of course)?

the two best (given your clues) would probably be: the ankle length one, sleeveless, with the draped neck; or, the flamenco-styled one, one shouldered with a matching asymmetrical hem - chiffon ruffles at hem and along the edge of the bodice.

Now, if you want something really different, I could bring last year's Christmas party outfit. Black velvet pants with a silver/black sequined tank top covered with a silk kimono (cream and red blocks on black background).
