Hi,

About every 15 seconds or so my cursor turns into an egg timer? I've run my virus scan, hijack this, adaware and spy bot - nothing identified.
I've looked at the Windows Task Manager and whilst the egg timer is turning wuauclt.exe shows up and then disapears again - any clues?
Also my WTM always shows around 40 Image Names - is that normal.
If anyone can help please go easy as I have about as much understanding of computers as that of a 2 year old (& even that's being rather on the optomistic side) - thanks!

Thats not showing us anything other than you need to get the latest Windows updates,

Please disable your current AV
Click Here and run RAV online scan, Copy and paste back the log into this thread when it has finished, Be sure and enable your AV when done with the above

Wuauclt.exe is the Windows Updates Automatic Update client. Which is not to say it couldn't be a virus.
