I have an oil painting that I didn't finish. It is now a few years later and I want to finish it. The colors look a little dull. What do I do?

@karenkenney7,
I never heard of oil colors "looking a little dull." Depending on the subject you're painting, isn't it easy to determine whether you should leave the already painted part or not?

@karenkenney7,
I don't know whether it will work or not, but you can put new acrylic on it.

@karenkenney7,
Can't all the colors of the oil painting hold? How does it look dull?
