My husband and I recently inherited a charcoal portrait from his mother. She unfortunately has lost most of her memory and can't help us with identifying it. There signiture on it but neither of us can figure out the first name. We believe the last name is Red. Any help that any one could provide would be greatly appreciated. We want to know about the artist and where it came from!
I see now that the first name could be Gareth - a well worked out signature.
My paintings over a lot of years just have JC snuck in somewhere in the bottom of the painting.
