The portrait hung in my grandmother's dining room for decades. Now its of personal interest to find the story behind the artist or subject. I've tried Google image search to no avail, any direction or information would be appreciated!

It's a Cavalier. (Royalist)
Now we've got to narrow it down from about a thousand or so.
It's certainly not this one.....

Is it a painting as opposed to a print?
Is there a signature?
Is there anything written on the back?
If it's a Frenchie he could be a Musketeer, a la D'Artagnan, etc.
