I have an old Linus-shaped chew toy for a dog... it's in good condition. It has a 1952 copyright on the bottom. Are there any collectors out there who can share some wisdom on whether or not it's worth anything?

yes, i found a similar toy (though it is fourteen years younger than mine) on Ebay and it was being bid on for $10.50--- i suppose that's not bad. however, the bidding on Peanuts items on Ebay seems pretty scattered.
