Let me tell you a story, that is so very true -
That God loves Santa Clause no matter what was told you.
Knowing God brings happiness, He knows Santa does too.
Would God be God to love one less when joy is given you?
God loves the joyful giver, and Santa fills the bill.
If we all were like Santa, peace on earth would be real.
Because the joy Santa bring children so cheerfully,
Is measured by bright eyes and hearts, grown ups miss fully.
So at Christmastime, if you know of someone hurting bad,
Give cheerfully ?'til it hurts no more - you'll make them glad.
Then God, who loves Santa's cheerful giving heart each year,
Will love you like He does Santa and hold you very dear.
Love and give every day, and not just at Christmastime,
Then God will say to you, "My child, like Santa, you too are mine."
I think this poem has potential. It seems a little forced in its metrics, but could be a winner with some work.
Ah my....Kelly, Kelly, Kelly...my #1 fan....
(I type the above with a grin on my face....)
Yea, I agree it was forced only because I wanted something to do while waiting for the little lady to get ready to go to market last year just before Christmas.....*smile*...

hehe, well there then :-)
So my lady is the blame for my forcing the rhyme of the poem??? Whew...I'm off the hook!!!
