Thank God it's Friday. It's been a long hard week.
Let me sing for joy, no time now to be meek.
Weekly sweat drains me so much, all for the sake of the dollar.
No time to think of my love and it makes me want to holler!
All weekend long, all the day, nighttime too, I love my honey.
You couldn't tear me away from that, for the world or money.
Time to dance and sing or just being couch potatoes together.
The life of kings is poorer compared to what we can weather.
But I hold tight & carry on, never meant to live for free,
And I thank God it's Friday, ?'cause my honey waits for me!
Not much of a critic, but I loved this one. I guess I'll have to check out some of your other stuff.
