Well, folks, we know that our Boston Bob is finished with his bio's when he makes us smile with an Irish joke.

Loved Kurt Russell, hawkman. Since our Raggedy isn't here, I will be her substitute today.

He was marvelous in Tombstone with Val Kilmer doing a wonderful Doc Holiday.

Great picture Letty. Much better than the one I took of Kurt. Very Happy

So, I took some pictures of another birthday celeb that you might like.

Ah, There's our Raggedy, folks, with that Russian guy. Marvelous, PA.

Glad you made it today, honey.

Well, folks, it looks as though the luck of the Irish was not with Letty. Just don't ask. I have never been so frustrated in my life. BIG CAR PROBLEMS!

Ah, well, folks, as my husband often remarked. Hat Shippins. Figure that one out, if you can.<smile>

Guess what, Raggedy. All is resolved. Whew! So now, listeners, I can play a companion piece to that Russian hunk. <smile>

Artist: Nat King Cole
Song: Dance, Ballerina, Dance

Dance, ballerina, dance
And do your pirouette in rhythm with your achin' heart.
Dance, ballerina, dance
You mustn't once forget a dancer has to dance the part.

Whirl, ballerina, whirl
And just ignore the chair that's empty in the second row.
This is your moment, girl,
Although he's not out there applauding as you steal the show.

Once you said his love must wait it's turn
You wanted fame instead.
I guess that's your concern,
We live and learn.

And love is gone, ballerina, gone
So on with your career, you can't afford a backward glance.
Dance on and on and on
A thousand people here have come to see the show
As 'round and 'round you go
So ballerina, dance
Dance, dance!

Dear sweet Nat.

Driving In My Car Lyrics - Madness

(AKA Letty's lament)

I've been driving in my car, it's not quite a jaguar
I bought it in primrose hill from a bloke from brazil
It was made in fifty-nine in a factory by the tyne
It says morris on the door, the g.p.o. owned it before
I drive in it for my job, the governor calls me a slob
But I don't really care, give me some gas and the open air

It's a bit old but it's mine, I mend it in my spare time
Just last week I changed the oil, the rocker valves and the coil
Just last week I changed the oil
Last week it went round the clock, I also had a little knock
I dented somebody's fender, he learnt not to park on a bender, ha ha ha

I've been driving in my car, it don't look much but I've been far
I drive up to muswell hill, I've even been to selsey bill
I drove along the a45, I had her up to 58
This copper stopped me the other day, you're mistaken what could I say
The tyres were a little worn, they were o.k., I could have sworn
I like driving in my car, I'm satisfied I've got this far

I like driving in my car, it don't look much but I've been far
I like driving in my car, even with a flat tyre
I like driving in my car, it's not quite a jaguar
I like driving in my car, I'm satisfied I've got this far

Marvelous, Try. Love the connection, honey. Well, at least it's paid for. <smile>

Now that all is well, I think I'll weave a spell for Pavlova:

Pavlova, will you dance no more?
Will the tulip shut up in the earth?
Will the swan forever fold white wings?
Will the flute go silent
And the song be hushed in the air?
Will the ray full of rainbows flicker and fail?

Pavlova, your foot is lighter than the perfume of lilies

Brighter than the sparkle of waves,
More musical than the thrush at twilight.
Somewhere-oh, softly-

Pavlova, will you dance no more?

While riding in my limousine,
Much to my surprise
A little bubble car was right behind
About one-third my size

A Whistling Tune
Written by Edwards and David

Did you ever notice when the sun goes down

Out of nowhere comes a strange and pretty sound

It's a whistling tune for walking in the night

If you listen you can hear it in the breeze

Specially when the breeze is drifting through the trees

It's a whistling tune for walking in the night

And the murmuring waters sing the song

The echoing mountains hum along

The whispering valleys fill the air

With a whistling tune our hearts can share

It's so wonderful to walk beneath the moon

Listening to old Mother Nature's favorite tune

It's a whistling tune for walking in the night

Ah, Try. It's a moon kind of night, isn't it. I'm listening and I do hear it.

The moon of Manakoora filled the night
With magic Polynesian charms
The moon of Manakoora came in sight
And brought you to my eager arms

The moon of Manakoora soon will rise again
Above the island shore
Then I'll behold it in your dusky eyes
And you'll be in my arms once more

My sister's song. <smile>

Goodnight, my friends.

Let this be my exotic goodnight song for the lady Leilani who has disappeared:
CHRIS ISAAK Song Lyrics

Sweet Leilani
(From the album "BAJA SESSIONS")

Sweet Leilani, heavenly flower oh.
I dreamt of paradise for two. (My lovely Leilani)
You are my paradise completed. (My lovely Leilani)
You are my dream come true.

Sweet Leilani, heavenly flower oh,
Tropic skies are jealous while they shine. (My lovely Leilani)
I think they're jealous of your blue eyes. (My lovely Leilani)
Jealous because you're mine.

Doctor My Eyes
Jackson Browne
Doctor, my eyes have seen the years
Through the slow parade of tears without crying
Now I want to understand
I have done all that I could
To see the evil and the good without hiding
You must help me if you can

Doctor my eyes
Tell me what is wrong
Was I unwise to leave them open for so long?

As I've wandered through this world
As each moment has unfurled
I've been waiting to awaken from this dream
People go just where they will
I never notice them until I've got this feeling
That it's later than it seems

Doctor my eyes
Tell me what is real
I hear their cries
Just saying "It's too late for me"

Doctor my eyes
Cannot be disguised
Is this the prize for having learned how not to cry?

Oh no, the "bubble cars" I remember were not VW Beetles.
Goggomobils and Isettas they were; about half the size and much lighter than that behemoth. Smile
If Walter were here he could bring you pictures.
