going to say good afternoon with Andy's version of Love Story. That may have been based on Romeo and Juliet, but not certain.

Great having France and England with us again. Maybe Ireland and Scotland tomorrow.

From Letty with love to all of you here

@Letty,
Thanks for the clip shot in Harvard Yard.
Harvard was the victor today in what they modestly call The Game.
That's the Harvard/Yale football game, of course.

@Letty,
Last I looked, there needed to be six bumps and the processing of links - the diminishing of them by various ploys - didn't affect that in any way.

I'm out of here since I don't do rules, such as don't answer one person, only many.

I understand no thumbs up, but I don't want to cripple myself since I like thumbing up.

I don't get to address people except Letty by herself as others can, and only can remark by compiling stuff I approve of, if not by rule, by long time culture.

I've tried, but I cannot adhere.

Most will say good riddance, but I think it is too bad.

Good Morning, Today's quotations.

Pride went before, ambition follows him.
Henry VI part 2 Act I Sc I.

The gravity and stillness of your youth
The world hath noted.

Othello Act II Sc III

And it's Daddy's birthday today (not mine obviously, I haven't called my father Daddy since I was 5 years old.)

So Happy Birthday Audrey's Daddy.

Good morning from our Florida radio station.
A big lightning storm awakened me early, so I'm a bit dipsy.

Latin George, thanks for your comment and that great song Shiver by Sarah.

I'm not certain what you meant by "the clip" but I have a response for you later.

Vonny, ah, dear Michael's Man in the Mirror was sad.

osso/Jo, As you know, I have explained the format of the radio is important.

Good to see you back with us izz with a y. Love bothe of your quotes, my friend, and it's funny about your dad, cause that's what I always called my father.

Hope I didn't miss anyone, but mostly I hope folks here will once again acknowledge contributions just to keep us going.

Latin George sent me searching.

Dear Cary Grant:

and Marty sings about a birthday guy.

Billy was relatively unknown during most of his lifetime but was catapulted into legend in 1881 when New Mexico's governor, Lew Wallace, placed a price on his head. In addition, the Las Vegas Gazette (Las Vegas, New Mexico) and the New York Sun carried stories about his exploits.[9] Other newspapers followed suit. Several biographies written about Billy the Kid after his death portrayed him in varying lights

Ah, edgar/Mark I thought that we had agreed to acknowledge and comment on our new radio. Didn't know that monkey song by Hoagy. Thanks for the memory jog. I thought that you would have enjoyed Marty's tribute.

Inspired by Osso, here's a great one by Emmy Lou. It was also done by Hank Williams.

Once again calling all music lovers, musicians, poets, and chatters.

Today is this guy's birthday, but first some info.

Bruce Randall Hornsby (born November 23, 1954) is an American singer and keyboardist known for the spontaneity and creativity of his live performances. Hornsby draws frequently from classical, jazz, bluegrass, folk, Motown, gospel, rock, blues, and jam band musical traditions with his songwriting and the seamless improvisations contained within.

Now, y'all, two versions of the same song.

First, Bruce

Hey, izz with a y. Which version of those two song did you like the best?

When I was quite young, I wrote this poem.

Then winter tiptoed in with icy crown,
And sent the snow awhirling every where.

She covered all the trees with softest down,
And left icecycles where she combed her hair.

Well, England is with us. Where is Ireland and France?

Come on Olivier 5 and euroGeorge. Very concerned about Imur/Liam.

Hey, folks, can you believe that it is 48 degrees here today? So, that makes Sun Day believable.

and, y'all, our hymn for Sunday.

Ah, Vonny, I had hoped that you would comment, too. That White Bicycle was interesting.

Gurda, Welcome back. Alicia doing Fallin' was great.

I still think of Anthony LaPaglia. <sniff>

These two songs my older sister and I used to sing together and they harmonized perfectly.

First, this one:

Now, Willie does the perfect match.
