Good morning from our Florida radio station.

Region, great to see you here again, and I used to be a closet hippie, because I was NOT an activist. Loved that music, buddy.

Miller, I liked disco as well.

Today in Thor Hyerdahl's birthday and I Loved Kon Tiki and The Ra expedition.

Here's a brief one from both of them.

Chas and Dave were being interviewed for a documentary about Top Of The Pops. In the song the word 'Cowson' is used. This is a really mild insult from South London meaning son of a cow. It's normally used quite affectionately. When they turned up at the studios the producer told them that his mother had heard the word and was shocked, believing it to be a Victorian insult closer to, but stronger than son of a bitch.

As they'd been singing it all along it actually slipped out during rehearsals, and they were told if it happened again, they'd be banned from the studios. Here, they don't say it, but nearly do, and grin instead. So for all of you who wondered what the 'C' word was, wonder no more, it's cowson.

@izzythepush,
Funny one, Brit, and it reminded me of this quote:

"I can neither hit thee nor curse thee, but when thou goeth home, I hope thy mother runneth our and bites thee on the leg."

Somehow, I thought of this band, but first some info.

Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band formed in 1967 in London. Due to numerous line-up changes, the only original member present in the band is its namesake, drummer Mick Fleetwood.

Hope you liked Mr. Lonely.

Once again, calling all musicians, music lovers, poets and painters. Remember, this is talk radio, too.

Coleridge was born in October, so here is part of his great poem done by Orson Welles:

My favorite verse:

Farewell, farewell! but this I tell
To thee, thou Wedding-Guest!
He prayeth well, who loveth well
Both man and bird and beast.

He prayeth best, who loveth best
All things both great and small;
For the dear God who loveth us,
He made and loveth all.

Well, if the world won't come to us, I guess I'll have to go to the world.

This lady discusses this man's art. My favorite is "the skeleton" . It refers to still born knowledge.

We will dedicate this to JLNobody, my favorite painter here.

@Letty,
Yes, disco is great for dancing, now and forever.

Did you like the movie, "Dirty Dancing"?

@Miller,
Hey, gal. When I think of disco, I think of Blondie's Heart of Glass, but here is dirty dancing, part of which was made a Mountain Lake where my late husband and I went so long ago.

@edgarblythe,
Welcome back, Texas. Waiting for Miracles by Leonard is one that I didn't know, thanks again for the memory.

More synchronicity, because I getting ready to say good evening with two songs.

First, the two great performers that I thought were from England and they are from Texas.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVAJfFn7lCc

Now, a marvelous performer doing For All We Know.

Although today is the day of my son's demise, I only have pleasant memories.

From Letty with love to the world.
