edgar, Thanks for your comment, and Gene doing Love Letter in the Sand was a surprise. Also enjoyed Little Richard and Johnny Cash.

Latin George, not certain what you meant by that quote, but Wonderful was wonderful by Bobby and Jack. Really enjoyed S&G doing America as well.

Hope y'all thank me for thanking you.

Going to say goodnight with a new face on our horizon. First, some info:

Lee Ru-ma (Korean: 이루마; born February 15, 1978), better known by his stage name Yiruma (Korean: 이루마), is a pianist and composer from South Korea. Yiruma frequently performs at sold-out concerts in Asia, Europe and North America. His alma mater, King's College London, England helped him gain European popularity and recognition. Among his most popular pieces are "River Flows in You" from Samuel Vallée."Kiss the Rain" and "Maybe". Yiruma's most popular album, First Love, was released in 2001.

He began playing the piano at the age of five and moved to London when he was eleven, in 1988, to study at The Purcell School of Music. He held dual citizenship, South Korean and British, until 2006, when he gave up his UK citizenship to serve in the South Korean Navy.

Now my goodnight song by this talented man.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, Texas and all from our radio station in Florida.

Thanks for your comment, edgar, and I am delighted to hear that guy doing Five Foot Two Eyes of Blue because there was a resurgence of the "flapper" generation.

Our tribute for today is the birthday of Hank Williams, Sr. The mystery of his death is still a factor.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WXYjm74WFI

My older sister and I decided he was a poet.

Now, an odd poem from a poet whose birthday is today.

William Carlos Williams:

so much depends
upon

a red wheel
barrow

glazed with rain
water

beside the white
chickens

Oops, I now know what Latin George meant by that quote. It was part of the lyrics to America.

More synchronicity because here's a birthday guy, and one of his roles was in Love Boat. I only remember basically Alan and his dad Allan. It's John Ritter's birthday.

Now, y'all, the theme song to that boat.

Ah, I wish we could entice other countries to be with us here.

Izz with a y from England
Mctag from Manchester
Olivier 5 from France.
Imur and euroGeorge from Ireland.

Also people who enjoy chatting and listening to our music here. Musicians themselves and, of course, poetry lovers. The only painter that I know quite well is JLNobdy.

I love all kinds of ethnic music. What about our listeners and contributors?

McTag doesn't have to worry, 'cause no legs showing as this guy does A Foggy Day:

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comment, Texas, and your personal acknowledgement. Anthony Newley was great. I thought I heard the sound of a musical ferris wheel. I do remember "the artful dodger".

Well, I think most of us know that Cyracuz(sp) was from Norway, so let's pretend that it's morning, shall we?

Letty, thanks for "Mambo Italiano". It was very popular in East Bosotn back
in the day. A lot of the words are in the dialect of southern Italians who
emigrated to the States, so I imagine Italian Italians would turn up their
noses. Eh, va naboli!
