Thanks, tsar and Vonny. Did Don Ho play?

Loved that Hobbit song, tsar.

Vonny, wish I could comment on what you played here today, but the equipment in my Florida radio station is not doing well. Loved Sammy doing Mr. Bojangles.

Let's see if The Doobie Bros. work.

So great to see euroGeorge back with us doing James Bon's You Only Live Twice. Sleep well, dear friend.

edgar, I don't know that one by Jack Scott, but I love the oldies as you know.

Going to say goodnight with a song and a poem.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVqDJP8PFYA

Now, the lyrics:

Around the world I've searched for you
I traveled on when hope was gone
To keep a rendezvous
I knew somewhere, sometime, somehow,
You'd look at me and I would see
That smile you're smil-ing now

It might have been in County Down,
Or in New York, in gay Paree,
Or even London town
No more will I go all around the world
For I have found my world in you

edgar knows this funny poem. It's called Two Americona Men, but I put that tomorrow on our radio station.

Great having our Irishman, our Brit, and our Britess with us today.

From Letty with love to the world.

Good morning from our radio station here in Florida.

Latin George, That song by Don Hicks, "How Can I Miss You if you Don't Go Away was great and gave me a big smile.

Today is David Crosby's birthday, and here he is with Simon and Nash to do a tribute to George Harrison:

Now, dear George doing While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

@Region Philbis,
Welcome back, Region. Love that parody of King Tut. Steve really walked like an Egyptian.

I think most of us know that there really was a boy king, but he was born with deformities.

There really was an Eric as well; also born with deformities.

Here's The Phantom of the Opera theme song.

@Letty,
RP? I remember spending hours listening to my father's Steve Martin comedy albums on the my weekends over his house while growing up! King Tut! Sweet!

Letty? Phantom of the Opera is in my top 10 all time favorite musicals! Super sweet!

@tsarstepan,
tsar, thanks for your comment and personal acknowledgement.

Don't know Iron and Wine singers. Great Endless Song, buddy. Didn't know it, so once again, thanks for the introduction.

Well, it's a little past High Noon here, but I love the theme to the movie. I recall Gary telling Ernest Hemingway: I'll get to the barn before you.

When I was just a kid, I saw a book that featured a frozen leopard on a mountain. Later I found out that Hemingway WAS that leopard. Although Gary died before Ernest, it was a shocker to know that the man killed himself.

Now, the theme:

Once again calling all poets, musicians, painters, music lovers and folks who like to present messages. This is talk radio, too.

Here's our funny poem for today. To me, it's simply means, call everyone by their name.

Two ‘Mericana Men
Beeg Irish cop dat walk hees beat
By den peanutta stan’,
First two, t’ree week w’en we are meet
Ees call me "Dagoman."
An’ w’en he see how mad I gat,
Wheech eesa pleass heem, too,
Wan day he say: "W’at’s matter dat,
Ain’t ‘Dago’ name for you?
Dat’s ‘Mericana name, you know,
For man from Eetaly;
Eet ees no harm for call you so,
Den why be mad weeth me?"
First time he talka deesa way
I am too mad for speak,
But nexta time I justa say:
"All righta Meester Meeck I"

O! my, I nevva hear bayfore
Sooch langwadge like he say;
An’ he don’t look at me no more
For mebbe two, t’ree day.
But pretta soon agen I see
Den beeg poleecaman
Dat com’ an’ growl an’ say to me;
"Halo, Eyetalian! Now, mebbe so you gon’ deny
Dat dat’sa name for you."
I smila back an’ mak’ reply:
"No, Irish, dat’sa true."
"Ha! Joe," be cry, "you theenk dat we
Should call you ‘Merican ?"
"Dat’s gooda ‘nough," I say, "for me,
Eef dat’s w’at you are, Dan."

So now all times we speaka so
Like gooda ‘Merican:
He say to me, "Good morna, Joe,"
I say, "Good morn, Dan."
