@Letty,
I feel funny saying "Sir Elton", but he does play a mean piano.

Jes, Welcome once again. Didn't know Morgan's soul performance with those great guys going along with her. Thanks for the introduction, gal.

Latin George, Great to see you here as well. Erin doing Co Co was fabulous.

Another birthday guy, y'all.

3 Dog Night - lone of my favorite guilty pleasures of dreaded pop music circle. There aren't many of there songs I don't like This song was written by famed song-writer Hoyt Axton. This song was one of my faves of the early '70s. In fact, it reminds me of that era of my lifetime:

This one makes me smile, too. Reminds me of going to clubs and dancing...and quite frankly having optimism and hope (after feeling quite damaged by Robin Williams suicide and all of this impending WWIII news.)

Love their singing voices:

Good morning, from our radio station in Florida.

Latin George, I Knew Your Mother was a great one.
edgar, So Long So Wrong was also a great one.

Ragman, I really love Three Dog Night . My favorite was Easy to Be Hard.

I have been reading about flooding here and decided to play this great one by Kirk who is still with us.

I noticed a discussion about the death of Robin Williams who took his own life, and it made me sad, as does the man:

Many say Alan did as well.

Welcome back to you as well, Pull man. Didn't know Blame it All on Love by Kevin. Thanks again for the introduction, buddy.

Two songs for the late morning here in our radio station.

First, a birthday man. Last saw him at The Embers in New York.

know all the lyrics to that one.

Now, inspired by Region's spoonerism:

Once again, calling all music lovers, painters, poets, and musicians.

Anyone remember Endymion? He observed that being creative was like a double edged sword. Hope he is alright.

Our poem for today set to music.

Anyone remember Don Ho? Today is his birthday. First, some info.

Ho, a singer of Hawaiian and Chinese descent on his paternal side and Hawaiian and Portuguese descent on his mother's side, was born in the small Honolulu neighborhood of Kakaʻako to Emily (Honey) Leimaile Silva and James Ah You Puao Ho, but he grew up in Kāneʻohe on the windward side of the island of Oʻahu.

Wow! I love ethnicity.
