Thanks again, edgar for your comment.

Roger, welcome by dear friend. I call him euroGeorge, and I am glad to know that Imur is alright, too.

Here's one for our Roger, and I think he know why. Razz

It worked, Latin George. I hope you enjoyed the Gregorian Chant, dear friend.

I don't particularly like this man's voice. but it was one taken from a poem, and I'm say goodnight with it.

@edgarblythe,
Though the sound quality is a bit scratchy..but I love these 2 folks singing this classic. halfway through it switches over to a 1977 version of ELH singing then back to 2000 version with Willie:

Bidding a fond good night to all with this fine rendition of 'I'll See You in My Dreams'
performed by none-other-than Django Reinhardt, master guitarist:

This is a track from an 18th Century clock. Of the 8 songs it plays only 3 have been identified.

I've started a thread about it, if any of the tracks can be identified the museum will be very grateful.

Good morning from our radio station here in Florida.

Once again, reminding out contributors to play no more than two songs as it drives us closer to another page.

edgar, loved Matchbox by Jerry Lee.

Ragman, especially enjoyed I'll See You In my Dreams.

Two songs for the morning here in our radio station.

First, one of my favorites by Neil Diamond:

Now, a birthday man, and here is some info concerning him:

John Conlee (born August 11, 1946) is an American country music singer. Between 1978 and 2004, Conlee charted a total of thirty-two singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts and recorded eleven studio albums. His singles include seven Number One hits: "Lady Lay Down," "Backside of Thirty," "Common Man," "I'm Only in It for the Love," "In My Eyes," "As Long As I'm Rockin' with You" and "Got My Heart Set on You." Besides these, Conlee has sent fourteen other songs into the Top Ten.

Now, his song.

Will be back later to check out our pull man's forum.

Well, y'all, while we await our contributors to comment on my two songs. Here are a couple of songs that my older sister and I used to sing together, and they harmonized perfectly.

First, Odetta:

Now, a guy that I don't know, but hope the two songs are in the right key.

letty, I like Bobby Bare, John Conlee, Odetta and the other music you played.

For his 80th Birthday, Leonard Cohen will be launching a new album.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, Thanks for your comments and personal acknowledgement. Love that one by Leonard. "drugs that make you slim" was hilarious.

I'll be back later with another song, dear friend.

So long ago when we went to New York, I didn't know anything about the places, but I did know the song, y'all.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7S-6xPCJqU

and, the lyrics.

I'll take Manhattan, the Bronx, and Staten Island too, it's lovely going through the zoo
It's very fancy on old Delaney Street, you know.
The subway charms us so, when balmy breezes blow to and fro.
And tell me what street compares with Mott street in July,
Sweet push carts gently gliding by
The great big city's a wondrous toy, just made for a girl and boy.
I'll turn Manhattan into an isle of joy.
I'll go to Greenwich, where modern men itch to be free.
And Bowling Green you'll see with me.
We'll bathe at Brighton, the fish you'll frighten
When you're in your bathing suit so thin, will make shellfish grin fin to fin.
I'd like to take a sail on Jamaica Bay with you, the fair Canarsies Lake we'll view
The city's bustle cannot destroy the dreams of a girl and boy,
I'll turn Manhattan into an isle of joy.

For some reason, I thought that Peggy Lee did this one, y'all. Johnny does it beautifully:
