tsar, Remember we agreed to only play a couple of songs on our radio. Listen to all of them and they were good.

Region, I love the way you wear your hat and restore our sound. Thanks again.

More Deja Vu, y'all.

Here is a favorite Bob Dylan of mine. He's using an "Alias" but it's really him.

edgar, I recognized "the Jester" but I never heard that song. The zero part reminded me of that Belle of Amherst:

Hope you liked The Irish Rovers, Texas.

osso/jo thanks for that info, gal.

One of my favorites by Bob, and it fits the wind here in our Florida studio.

I tried to find out the name of that guy singing Blowing in the Wind, but I don't think even the one that put it on youtube knows.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, I'm confused. Are you surprised?

"Blowin' in the Wind" is a song written by Bob Dylan in 1962 and released on his album The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan in 1963. Although it has been described as a protest song, it poses a series of rhetorical questions about peace, war and freedom.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with another classical piece.

@Letty,
I have more than one record of Bob Dylan singing Blowing in the Wind. The album, "Freewheelin" is the first record I bought by him and I still have that original copy. The artist you played sounds only vaguely like Dylan. But it's not him. I am not trying to be difficult, but I can't let that cover pass for real.

@ossobuco,
Jara is one of my guitar heroes, a true martyr of his art.

@Olivier5,
On your other link, a poster said that --

"Lazlo Mortimer 1 month ago (edited)

After a brutal public beating in which his hands were broken with a rifle butt, a solder taunted: “sing now you son of a __.” Jara struggled to his feet and sang a verse of “We Shall Succeed.” He was taken out of the stadium and found dead the next day, a victim of machine gun fire. The story of his beating, and death transformed him from activist and artist to myth and martyr. Jara died at the age of 35, having lived a rich and remarkable life. His legacy of scholarship, music, poetry, and social commitment alone assures his place in Chilean history. The Pinochet govt’s efforts to break his spirit and silence him failed. Jara’s last act of defiance made him an international symbol of human rights, courage, and a part of the political consciousness of Latin America and the world and we still sing his songs."

Thus my wow.
I also like his voice. My liking voices is sort of personal and not what musicians might appreciate. My liking is what I take as spoken to me, perhaps reminding me of other voices.

@Letty,
You're welcome, Letty.

I notice that I tend to like Euro's submissions and Olivier's, they tend to get to my sympathetic side.
