@Olivier5,
I knew a girl who always went by her middle name, which was Estar (Spanish). When pressed, she told people her first name was Polly. It wasn't. Her sense of humor was always a little off center.

@ossobuco,
Yes yes yes, Lalo Schifrin the writer of the Mission Impossible theme. I see who you mean now (and could play Peanut Vendor).

I even played the theme at the electric bass in my youth. In 5/4 tempo :-)

One more suggestion to our contributors. Had you gone up a few songs, you would have noticed that my three bumps worked.

Going to way goodnight now:

First, Roger Miller again:

@eurocelticyankee,
Welcome back euroGeorge. Love that Irish violin song and especially the Irish whistle.

More synchronicity, Irish. I think you missed this Irishman.

@eurocelticyankee,
Fantastic version of Mack the Knife, euro. I recall after hearing Bobby Darin sing, I sang it and then some guy came up and asked me to sing Mack the Night again. Razz

Inspired by osso/jo, I found this great couple of jazz men playing one of my favorites:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCQfTNOC5aE

and, the lyrics.

In a sentimental mood
I can see the stars come through my room
While your loving attitude
Is like a flame that lights the gloom
On the wings of every kiss
Drifts a melody so strange and sweet
In this sentimental bliss
You make my paradise complete
Rose petals seem to fall
It's all I could dream to call you mine
My heart's a lighter thing
Since you made this night a thing divine
In a sentimental mood
I'm within a world so heavenly
For I never dreamt that you'd be loving sentimental me
