Thanks to our Latin George for the help.

euro, I love Don't You Need Somebody to love.

For some reason, I saw that today is Captain Kangaroo's birthday and it made me think of The Statler Brothers and Johnny Cash.

First, a funny one.

I didn't know that Johnny Cash helped them get started.

Now, a great classic, y'all.

a personal experience, y'all. The Statler Brothers were from Stanton, Va. and my older sister worked there as a nurse's assistant. She was with one of them when they died. That Statler Brothers were a gospel group as well.

Hope our contributors will check out Andre Rieu's Granada.

Here's one by Aretha that tells it like it is.

@eurocelticyankee,
euro, thanks for your comments. Odd, I read almost all of Rudyard Kipling's Jungle books when I was a kid. Loved Bare Necessities.

TCM was showing this one the other night:

@Letty,
A classic movie Miss Letty.

Now music from another classic movie ''The Good The Bad and The Ugly'', the latter played by Eli Wallach who died this week.

@eurocelticyankee,
euro, I loved The Good The Bad and The Ugly. I think those were coyotes howing in the background. Ah, that's too bad about Eli.

Thanks again for your comment.

Here's a tribute to an excellent actor.

@eurocelticyankee,
Thanks again for your comment, euro. Didn't know Elbow doing Grounds for Divorce, but it was good, and thanks again for the introduction.

Ah, I always look at my husband and me when we were camping. Those were happier times.

Here's another camp(ground) by the man in black.
