edgar, I don't know Red Dust, but I certainly remember "the platinum blonde".

No problem, Ragman. Just thought that I would mention it to you.

Speaking of Africa, how about some To To.

Thanks again, edgar for the comment. Glad that my messages to you and Ragman did as well.

Love And I Love Her by "the fab four". Donovan's Hurdy Gurdy Man was great as well.

Once again, saying goodnight with this fabulous bassist, Paul. He and Larry got the same treatment and I will never understand it.

When I was a teenager (when dinosaurs roamed the earth) and us guys wanted to dance with a hot gal, we'd wait for a slow song. This song I recall made us all melt (video clip is from TV show called Shindig):

@Ragman,
Ragman, Thanks for restoring our signal. Age has nothing to do with music. when I sang with the jazz boys, they got a bit irritated with me because I sang what the audience wanted to hear. After all, they were paying for it.

Hope you like that version of the Hurdy Gurdy. I remember the name of The Dave Clark Five, but not their music, my friend.

Speaking of jazz, how about Adre, y'all.

@Letty,
Just as a refresher, here's a few of their biggest hits. At one time around 1964-1966 they were as big as The Beatles, Rolling Stones and bigger than Gerry and The Pacemakers. Instrumentally with a keyboard and saxes they had a bigger sound. The last song on the clip is Bits and Pieces which should jog a memory if you're going to recall them:

What poking around Dave Clark 5 tunes on Youtube got me thinking about is one of the most exciting groups of that time - they did a more pure authentic fresh brand of Rock &Roll and one the best examples of musicality I can think of - as witnessed by the piano and the bass riffs.

I loved this tune then and now. This song talks about growing up in Raleigh- Durham and Tobacco Road - an amazing feat considering the group is from Surrey, in UK.

@Letty,
In keeping with jazz direction, this is one of the best jazz selections, The Art of Jazz Piano....containing some interviews with some of the greatest musical influences about the great jazz pianist Art Tatum and the evolution of jazz:

@Ragman,
Ragman, I listened to all of your songs, but because of my having updated to Windows 8, I had to shut down my computer here in our Florida radio station.

I Certainly know I Hate To See The Evening Sun Go Down.

One more time, Adre Previn's jazz, followed by the vocal version.

@edgarblythe,
Welcome back, edgar, and thanks for your comment. Didn't know that version of Good morning America. The City of New Orleans was great.

How about some fun for the late afternoon here.

AHA! Another cognitive insight moment. It was The Sons of the Pioneers who did the original version and my mom loved them. As edgar knows I went to the movie just to hear the king of the cowboys do Old Faithful.

Speaking of Donkey, here's Mario again. My older sister introduced him to me.
