I've always liked to hear Smiley. At one point he was called Frogs Milhouse. Roy too.

@edgarblythe,
Well, edgar, it worked and thanks again for the comment. Love Al doing Oh, You Beautiful Doll. Didn't know he did that one.

Going to say goodnight with two songs.

First, The Zider Zee. Dutchy knows where that is.

edgar, enjoyed The Retirement Blues and hbg is always gone before I awaken. Here's a version of The Isle of Capri by "old blue eyes"

So long ago, edgar, I recall having awakened to Rudy singing Deep Night. I truly enjoyed the megaphone music.

Now, a birthday man.

Love Neil

Wish I could figure out the music behind Manet art, y'all.

Another afternoon session from here in our Florida radio.

Another classic inspired by Harry. Sigmund Freud.

He was right about balancing the id the ego and the superego.

When I was around 21-22, I read a biography of Freud, his Interpretation of Dreams, and some other stuff I forgot how to label. I don't remember all of it, of course, but I have an abiding respect for the man.

@edgarblythe,
Leonard is singing about The Romanovs (sp), right, edgar? There is some evidence that they weren't killed; just removed from power.

Yep, I think Freud helped the Victorian women a lot.

Thinking about Ray Charles now. This became the state song of Georgia.

Get rid of the notion that the Civil War was about slavery.

Get rid of the notion that the Civil War was about slavery.

But the Confederate states themselves, in their secession papers, specifically said it was.

@edgarblythe,
Well, edgar, we'll never know about history. It has been twisted lots of times.

Ah, love the browns doing The Old Lamp Lighter. One of my favorites by them was The Three Bells and remember we discussed Edith Piaf being the first to do that.

I was discussing this with the pushman.

Hey, all. We need a little laughter. Today is Ray Stevens' birthday.

This song is funny:

@edgarblythe,
I always love what Leonard sings, edgar. Thanks for your comment. Didn't know that one by him. It was rather sad.

How about a happy one to match:
