Hey, bumpsters. It worked. Be sure and check out Sam and Now is the hour, guys. Liked that one by Tony, edgar.

Today is Steve Perry's birthday, and here is some info.

Stephen Ray "Steve" Perry (born January 22, 1949) is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and musician, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Journey during their most commercially successful periods from 1977 to 1987 and 1995 to 1998. Perry had a successful solo career between the mid-1980s and mid-1990s.

JPB will remember him best for The Journey. Cool

I've been listening to a lot of Frank Black recently. This song in particular touches a nerve.

Welcome back, Izz with a y. Don't know Jack Black, but I remember "Teenager in Love". Yep, some music that we play here does touch a nerve.

edgar, thanks for your comment, and I remember The Rolling Stones, but not No Expectations. Thank for the introduction, Texas.

I graduated at sixteen, so here is a memory by The Four Freshmen:

@Letty,
Frank Black, not Jack. Jack's known for comedy films as well as Temacious D. Frank was a leading light in The Pixies.

Oops, sorry pushman. Frank and Jack are rather common names. Had to check out your group. That Monkey Goes to Heaven reminded me of my older sister and I would sing Holy songs when we found dead animals along the railroad tracks.

The Pixies are an American alternative rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1986. The group currently consists of founders Black Francis, Joey Santiago and David Lovering.

Hope you'll check out Graduation Day.

Today is George Gordon Lord Byron's birthday, so here is a poem by him.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two versions of Maori Farewell.
