Welcome back to you too, edgar, and thanks for your comment on Nat. Love the jester doing Mr. Tambourine Man.

Pushman and Olivier. I've been out for a bit, so it's impossible for me to comment on each song. Suffice it to say, they were all fantastic. Odd, I can speak French, I just can't spell it. Razz

As the pushman knows I also love the British way of talking.

Here's Deano doing a good one by Cole Porter.

It worked, edgar, and thanks for your comment. Love that one by Yves. " It's so good, lovers say that in France."

How about Dean doing a little bit of the South.

edgar, love that cajun music as well and thanks to all of you for your comments.

saying goodnight with Midnight in Moscow replete with English lyrics.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggCQx5MtzX8

Stillness in the grove
Not a rustling sound
Softly shines the moon clear and bright
Dear, if you could know
How I treasure so
This most beautiful Moscow Night

Lazily the brook like a silvery stream
Ripples in the light of the moon
And a song afar fades as in a dream
In this night that will end too soon
Yes a song afar fades as in a dream
In this night that will end too soon

Dearest, why so sad, why the downcast eyes
And your lovely head bent so low
Oh, I mustn’t speak, though I’d love to say
That you’ve stolen my heart away

Promise me my love, as the dawn appears
And the darkness turns into light
That you’ll cherish dear, through the passing years
This most beautiful Moscow Night

Say you’ll cherish dear through the passing years
This most beautiful Moscow Night

What a wonderful mix of foreign languages today on WA2K

From Letty with love to the world.

good evening msletty , ed and all listeners to WA2K Radio !

tomorrow is the birthday of Caterina Valente

Quote:
In Germany she was a major performer of Schlager music. There she recorded Cole Porter's I Love Paris under the German title Ganz Paris träumt von der Liebe, which sold more than 500,000 copies in 1954. Over the years, she has recorded or performed with many international stars, including Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker, Perry Como, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman, Woody Herman, Claus Ogerman, the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Sy Oliver, Buddy Rich and Edmundo Ros. In 1959, she was nominated for a Grammy Award. Valente was a principal, along with Carol Burnett and Bob Newhart, on the short-lived CBS variety series The Entertainers (1964–65). A briglia sciolta, the Italian jazz CD recorded in 1989 and re-released in later years under the titles Fantastica and Platinum deluxe, was her best-selling CD worldwide. In 2001, she released a new album, Girltalk, with harpist Catherine Michel.

In 1958, she filmed the musical comedy Hier bin ich – hier bleib ich (Here I Am, Here I Stay) which featured a guest appearance by Bill Haley & His Comets. During Haley's segment, Valente sings a duet with Haley on a newly recorded version of his song "Vive la Rock and Roll".[

here she is with Edmundo Ros and his orchestra and " La Bamba " .

hbg, good to see you back with us. Love Emundo Ross and my friend Brucie is the one who introduced me to him. Also love Hank's Hey Good looking. As I told Debacle, I sang that on TV so long ago.

Hurry back, my friend and our edgar as well.

Having some problems here both with the equipment in our Florida radio station, as well as on the home front.

Hold good thought for your PD, and I awakened with this hymn in my head.

I hope it works, y'all. If not, it is Lead Kindly Light

edgar, thanks for your comment and The Steve Miller Band doing The Joker song was great.

Hey, pushman. Madness One was great and reminded me of this poem:

Much Madness is divinest Sense - (620)
By Emily Dickinson
Much Madness is divinest Sense -
To a discerning Eye -
Much Sense - the starkest Madness -
’Tis the Majority
In this, as all, prevail -
Assent - and you are sane -
Demur - you’re straightway dangerous -
And handled with a Chain -

Loved that guy dancing.

Today is Jack Jones' birthday, so here is a great on by him.
