Good morning from our Florida radio station.

edgar. Loved Summer Rain by Johnny.

pushman, thanks for the explanation and info on those guys.

Lordy, welcome back. All of your songs gave me a smile. Good to see you on our radio.

Sorry if I missed anyone. Had another allergy attack last evening, and it murdered my memory. Razz

Today is this great performer's birthday, and he always remind me of my friend who died from parkinson's disease. His real name was Santa Tomas E Lucas. (Dan Lucas) Dear Jim left us too soon.

@edgarblythe,
Loved Judy's Who Knows Where the timed goes.

Favor, Texas. Jim Croce's tribute worked. Hope you will acknowledge it.

If not, here it is again.

I often wonder at the new songs Croce might have written.

@edgarblythe,
I played that song for my friend Dan Lucas who looked so much like Jim. Dan died of pakinsons disease.

That was a beautiful song, edgar. Is that done originally in Latin? Maybe German or French? Perhaps you'll know.

Another young birthday kid's tribute. You'll know him best for Giant and Rebel without a Cause.

The song was in French, letty. I first learned it off a Leonard Cohen album.
I liked Sal. Hated he was taken so soon.

@Letty,
The first song Jim Croce learned to play was Lady Of Spain. Here's Hugh Laurie in a scene from Jeeves And Wooster.

pushman, that was hilarious. Hugh Laurie was something else. Had no idea that Jim Croce did Lady of Spain.

The Freight Train song by Joan is the same one Rusty Draper had a hit with in the 50s.
