@Letty,
I learnt something new today. I heard Toploader's version first, and never realised it was a cover. I think King Harvest's is best. Here's another, same name different song.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, edgar and all radio listeners. I had to log in to hear and Mimi, and I decided instead to play Kenny Loggins. It's his birthday.

@Letty,
Winnie The Pooh and The Will Of The Wind puts me in mind of The Wind In The Willows. The only ref I can think of is Pink Floyd's Piper At The Gates Of Dawn.

A suggestion from your PD (program director). If each great contributor will reply to all, then we will know what comes
before.

@izzythepush,
Hey pushman. Loved that one by Cab Calloway. He was indeed a hep cat, and here's one to match.

@edgarblythe,
Morning all, just read Edgar's quotation about boredom on his 'quote for the day' thread, so I'm retaliating.

Good morning, everyone. Sorry about the boredom y'all.

edgar, I know Little Old Winemaker Me best by Deano. What a surprise to find out that Robert did that one. Pearl Bailey's song was good.

pushman, I never hear that dog song that I don't think about The Camptown Races. Al Jolson did it with a bunch of Minstrels. He broke all the rules, too.

Two songs for the morning here in Florida. First, it's "the kings" birthday, and here is my favorite by him. It's based on the poem by Alexander Pope.

Now, some smooth jazz by The Four Freshmen with lyrics by Johnny Mercer.
